This panel presented by Patricia Ohanian of the Palo Alto Unified School District contained some ideas that can be easily applied to the B2B program but might be trickier to adapt to the library as the whole. I believe the panel was best suited to k-6 school libraries and public libraries which feature programs such as B2B.

Some of the ideas she shared that I can see incorporating into B2B (and could even be a fun staff exercise) are to have the students trace their hand onto a piece of paper and then label each finger with a different reading memory. An example of a reading memory can range from the first book the student remembers having read all by themselves to a favorite book they remember having read to them by a parent.
Another idea she shared was demonstrating to students the difference between a biography and autobiography by picking a biography and autobiography of a person and having them count how many times the word "I" shows up in an autobiography as opposed to a biography.

Again, I htought the panel contained some good and applicable ideas but was best suited to school libraries and public libraries with children's literacy programs.
